At UMPLIFE Shop, we stand behind our baseball and softball equipment like an umpire stands behind home plate. We understand that sometimes gear needs to be returned or exchanged, whether it’s the wrong size, doesn’t meet your expectations, or arrives damaged. Our policy is designed to be as straightforward as a fastball down the middle.
Our Return & Exchange Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:
- In original, unused condition
- With all original tags and packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Custom or personalized items (including engraved equipment)
- Used protective gear (Chest-Protectors, Arm-Wrist-Guards)
- Opened baseball/softball packages (Baseballs, Baseballs (Training))
- Items marked as “Final Sale”
The Return Process
Follow these steps like you’d follow through on your swing:
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer a refund or exchange
Step 2: Receive Authorization
Our team will respond within 24 business hours (faster than a 90mph fastball) with:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions
- Return address (2081 Arrowood Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32044)
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package the item securely with all original packaging and include:
- Return authorization number clearly visible
- Copy of your invoice or packing slip
Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
Step 4: Processing Your Return
Once received at our Jacksonville facility, we’ll inspect the item within 3 business days and notify you via email about the status of your refund or exchange.
Refund Information
Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Your refund will be issued to your original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal: Typically reflects within 24 hours
Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except for returns due to our error.
Exchange Process
For exchanges:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Indicate your desired exchange item in your return request
- We’ll ship the replacement item once we receive your return
- You’ll be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item (which is rare – we check our equipment as thoroughly as an umpire checks a bat), contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label if needed.
International Returns
For customers outside the U.S. (excluding certain Asian/remote regions not served):
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs fees/duties are non-refundable
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
